The 6th Transnational Partners Meeting took place in Amsterdam, on December 5-6, 2022, and was hosted by the University Industry Innovation Network (UIIN).

During one day and a half, 14 representatives from all the partners came together to discuss and decide upon the remaining activities and outcomes of the project, but also to envision ways to exploit it and expand its results beyond its lifespan.

All the partners were consensual about the positive challenges and gains of this joint venture, the innovation promoted by the project and its outcomes in each of the contexts and organizations, the raised awareness about EER, and the need to continue this endeavour through maintaining the connections that stemmed from this experience, as well as the opportunities to continue working together in this domain.

The final (online) conference of the UNLOCK project was held in November 28-29, 2022, and involved a total of 46 speakers, and 17 internal facilitators/moderators, who led 29 conference activities, such as: talks, workshops, mini sessions, and online Educational Escape Rooms.

There were 119 participants registered to the Zoom platform, coming from 24 countries from all over the world, who attended a total of 13 hours of presentations, discussions, debates and hands-on activities.

The 1st edition of the "Bootcamp Grow EU" took place at the University of Aveiro, between 9th and 10th November 2022. This initiative was aimed at young people in Higher Education. Students from different areas, including Marketing, Economics and Engineering, had the opportunity to reflect together on European priorities and policies and discuss the future of the European project.

Among the different activities organised during the Bootcamp, the Unlock project organised an escape room on "populism and European citizenship". A total of 15 students, divided into 4 groups, were challenged to complete an escape mission to find out who was the populist leader, infiltrated in the ministry and who was threatening democracy in "Liechtenstein" fictitious country created on Twitter. The fastest team solved the mission in 30 minutes and won the challenge. After the activity, students reported that they were able to put soft skills in place, such as teamwork, leadership, creativity, critical thinking and time management.

The E-Teaching Fellowship of the Münster University of Applied Sciences is incorporating UNLOCK's MOOC materials into its contents, which will allow HEI educators to "get to know proven game principles and building blocks of the concept. In addition to the self-study materials, the online course offers guidelines, best practice recommendations and an international community for the exchange of learning content. In the second phase of the fellowship, [the participants] will work on a prototype for [their] own teaching and benefit from the exchange with other interested colleagues at [their] university.

Our project promoted the first event aimed at entrepreneurs, held at the University of Aveiro, by implementing an escape room with more than 40 participants. This was a great opportunity to disseminate the project's results, the importance of escape rooms in entrepreneurial contexts, and the upcoming final conference, which will be held in Amsterdam, in November!

Hosted by the University of Granada (Spain), our consortium met in 26-27 May 2022 for the penultimate time, working intensively to discuss and make decisions about the final stages and activities of the project, including: the final version of the MOOC informed by the pilots results and insights, following publications, the design of the final conference, and the sustainability strategy.

We also held a National Event, which included very enlightening presentations on gamification, how to design escape rooms, and the use of EERs to teach English as a second language, by  Irene Rivera, Pablo Rodríguez, Beatriz Revelles, and José Luis Gómez.

On the 30th of March 2022, in the scope of the kick-off of our MOOC pilots, a team of students and UNLOCK project members held an event aimed at HEI teachers, giving them the opportunity to participate in an EER focussed on Entrepreneurship and Sustainability.

The participant HEI teachers further explored and discussed conceptual and practical issues about the design and implementation of EERs in their own subjects and contexts.
